Terms of Use

These terms govern individual use of Socena. Your organisation’s agreement with Socena may contain additional service terms.

Using Socena

Socena Pte. Ltd. provides organisation-managed software for documents, financial operations, workflows, and collaboration. You may use Socena only if an authorised organisation has given you access and only for that organisation's legitimate activities.

If these terms conflict with a written agreement between Socena and the organisation managing your workspace, that written agreement controls for the affected service.

Your account

Keep credentials and devices secure, use only your own account, and notify your administrator or Socena promptly about suspected compromise. You are responsible for activity performed through your account unless caused by Socena's failure to meet its obligations. Accounts are provisioned, managed, and deactivated by authorised organisations; public self-service account creation is not offered.

Acceptable use

You must not:

  • access data, accounts, systems, or workspaces without authority;
  • upload unlawful, harmful, infringing, deceptive, or malicious material;
  • interfere with security, availability, rate limits, audit controls, or other users;
  • reverse engineer or circumvent technical restrictions except where applicable law expressly permits it;
  • use Socena to harass, threaten, impersonate, spam, or violate another person's rights; or
  • share confidential workspace content outside the permissions and policies established by your organisation.

Your content

You and the relevant organisation retain rights in content submitted to Socena. You represent that you have authority to provide it. You grant Socena the limited rights necessary to host, process, protect, transmit, back up, and present that content in order to provide the service. Socena does not acquire ownership of customer workspace content through these terms.

Socena materials

Socena and its licensors retain all rights in the service, software, design, documentation, branding, and improvements. Subject to these terms and the applicable organisation agreement, Socena grants you a limited, revocable, non-transferable right to use the service through your authorised account.

Availability and changes

We work to keep Socena secure and available, but uninterrupted operation is not guaranteed. Features may change as the service evolves. Customer-specific availability, support, service levels, data retention, fees, and warranties are governed by the relevant organisation agreement.

Suspension and termination

Socena or the organisation managing your workspace may restrict or end access where required by security, law, these terms, or the organisation agreement. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination—including ownership, confidentiality, responsibility for prior conduct, and applicable limitations—continue to apply.

Liability and governing terms

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the service is provided subject to the warranties, limitations, remedies, governing law, and dispute process in the relevant organisation agreement. Where no such agreement applies, these terms are governed by Singapore law and the courts of Singapore have exclusive jurisdiction, without limiting rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
